Terms of Service
These terms govern use of EventPhotoFind by organizers who hold an account. Guests using a public event page are covered by the Privacy Notice and the Biometric Data Notice.
Effective 21 August 2026
The service
EventPhotoFind lets you upload event photographs, processes them into web-ready images, indexes the faces in them, and hosts a public event page where guests can find photographs of themselves using a selfie.
Your account
You are responsible for the accuracy of your account details, for the security of your credentials, and for the actions of everyone you invite to your workspace.
Your content
You keep ownership of the photographs you upload. You grant us the licence needed to store, process, and display them for the purpose of providing the service to you and to the guests of your event, and for no other purpose.
You confirm that you have the rights necessary to upload the photographs, and the lawful basis needed to have the faces in them processed for search.
Acceptable use
You may not use the service to:
- Upload images you do not have the right to use.
- Identify or track people outside the event those images belong to.
- Process images of people who have not been given the notice their jurisdiction requires.
- Attempt to extract face descriptors or circumvent the limits on the service.
- Upload unlawful content, or content depicting the sexual exploitation of minors.
Demo events
A workspace may claim one demo event. It is limited to 100 photographs and seven days, previews are watermarked, and full-resolution downloads are not available. Deleting a demo event does not make a workspace eligible for another one.
Payment
Paid plans are sold through a merchant of record, which handles the transaction and any applicable sales tax or VAT. Entitlements are granted when that provider confirms payment.
Availability
We do not currently offer a service level agreement, and we do not claim a specific uptime figure. Processing capacity during early operation is limited, and large galleries may take longer at peak times.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms, particularly the acceptable use section. You may close your account at any time; doing so deletes your events and the face data derived from them.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified to account holders, and continued use after they take effect constitutes acceptance.
